OUR HISTORY

Our journey began in 1997 by providing foundational computing and technology services to local businesses and educational institutions. Driven by rapid growth and the evolving needs of our clients, Computer Arena was established in 2000 to manage our expanding Information and Communication Technology (ICT) division, while our professional consulting services continued to grow alongside it.

Over the next two decades, we recognised the growing demand for an integrated business support partner capable of delivering strategic consulting, business administration, technology solutions, and procurement services through a single trusted provider. This led to the strategic consolidation of our consulting expertise, specialised business services, e-commerce capabilities, and procurement operations.

Today, operating under the Arena Professional Services brand and formally incorporated as a private company in 2021, we serve as a comprehensive business solutions provider. Our specialised divisions—including Computer Arena, Arena Business Services, Arena Stationery Supplies, and Arena Sports—deliver focused expertise while providing clients with the convenience of coordinated services through one trusted business partner.

Although our organisation has evolved significantly over more than 25 years, our core values, professional expertise, commitment to service excellence, and client-focused approach remain unchanged. OUR STORY

Arena Professional Services was founded by Joe February and operates as a collaborative network of experienced management consultants and independent specialists based in Cape Town. With more than 35 years of professional experience spanning Business Development, Human Resources, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and business management, Joe established the firm to deliver integrated business solutions that help organisations improve performance, strengthen governance, and achieve sustainable growth.

Throughout his career, Joe recognised that organisational success cannot be achieved through isolated business functions alone. Sustainable growth requires strategic alignment between people, processes, technology, and leadership. Guided by this philosophy, Arena Professional Services was established to bridge the gap between strategic planning and practical implementation by providing organisations with coordinated, multidisciplinary business support.

Today, Arena Professional Services is more than a traditional consulting practice.
